A. Absolutely. While The Wool Exchange Entertainment Complex is best known as an entertainment complex, we very regularly host business breakfasts, training seminars and business seminars in our function rooms for hire. Our Cafe is also a popular place for Geelong business lunches.

Q. What are your function room options?
A. The upstairs ballroom is a two-tiered space that can seat up to 300 guests or cater for up to 650 for a cocktail function. It also allows room for an expansive stage and dance floor. We refer to this room as Stage 3 and it is ideal for large Geelong wedding receptions, large corporate events, Geelong trade shows and live entertainment.

Downstairs is Stage 2 – another Geelong function room for hire that can seat up to 100 people on round tables with room for a dance floor. This room is ideal for conferences, smaller Geelong weddings or a Geelong party venue.

Stage 1 is The Wool Exchange Entertainment Complex Café – an ideal formal setting that can accommodate up to 54 guests. The café-restaurant is unavailable as a function space during the day, but in the evenings it is available for parties and corporate events.

A. Only recently has the upstairs ballroom been refurbished to its former glory to accommodate Geelong wedding receptions.

Q. I am running a conference and need a Geelong conference venue that has technical equipment. What equipment do you have?
A. The Stage 2 room is an ideal Geelong function room for hire for corporate events. It has a data projector, screen, electronic whiteboard, flip chart and DVD player. Additional equipment is available at an extra cost.

The Stage 1 ballroom is ideal function room for hire for very large conferences or trade shows and has concert-standard sound and lighting equipment. Additional equipment is available at an extra cost.

Q. Does your food and beverage team do catering for events outside your venue?
A. Yes, The Wool Exchange Entertainment Complex can deliver catered food to your home or office. We can create a Geelong catering menu to suit your budget and taste using seasonal produce.
